How does InstaNet work?

At the heart of the system is the InstaNet I-Scheduler; this means you can decide whether the information needs to be sent to all staff or discrete groups. It also helps you to manage the information to ensure that out of date messages are removed from the system at pre-determined dates.

When changes are applied to the information stored on the I-Server, the system automatically detects this and performs a corresponding update. Only new or amended files are communicated to users and these files are highly compressed, optimising network traffic and keeping storage requirements to an absolute minimum.

InstaNet Mobile™ takes the information passed to the InstaNet I-Server and pushes the information out to your mobile staff and remote workers to ensure that everybody is up to date - at the same time - all the time.

Data Security

InstaNet will conform to your own IT policies whether for local, remote (e.g. VPN) or mobile users, ensuring confidentiality is maintained.

In addition, InstaNet Mobile uses the same award winning security for document transmission as the BlackBerry™ uses for email and other data. Once on the device, the information can be stored on micro-SD card or in main memory and standard BlackBerry memory encryption mechanisms can be used to protect stored data.
